Make it Amazing
VCU’s Administration’s Make It Amazing campaign is aimed at improving the experience for community members who interact with division employees. By improving customer service and enhancing employee engagement, Make it Amazing empowers division employees to proactively solve problems and demonstrate exceptional service with each and every interaction.
In two separate surveys, VCU Administration saw marked improvements in both customer service and employee engagement during the first year of the Make it Amazing campaign. From 2017 to 2018 overall division scores for customer satisfaction increased from 72.1 percent to 75.9 percent and overall scores for employee engagement rose from 3.54 to 3.72 out of five. Division leaders continue to use the results from both surveys as well as takeaways from related training programs to improve customer service across the division and increase employee engagement.
